About · Xeno Company
A workshop with two voices.
Xeno is a Turin-based atelier built on a stubborn idea: that engineering and art are the same craft pursued with different tools. Since 2019 we have run two divisions under one roof — Engineering (XED) and Art (XAD) — plus a small Services arm, an Innovation residency, and an Academy.
Principles
We work by a handful of rules. They are not slogans — they are what we check for at the corner of every meeting.
- 01
Engineering as language.
Every object we ship is a sentence. Tolerances are punctuation; affordances are syntax. We obsess over both.
- 02
Art as proof.
A drawing on the wall, a print in hand — visible proof that the craft passed through here. We make things that age in public.
- 03
Workshop scale.
Small teams. Long conversations. Tight feedback loops with the people who will live with the product.
- 04
Quiet ambition.
We do not announce. We finish. We finish well. We measure the wake the work leaves behind.
Timeline
Seven years in five quiet milestones.
2019
The workshop opens
A two-room workshop in Turin. Three engineers, one painter, one milling machine.
2021
XED gets its name
The engineering division gets a name and an identity. The first long client projects begin.
2023
XAD opens
A second floor, lit by north-facing windows. Plaster, paper, pencil — and a camera tripod.
2025
The Academy begins
A first cohort of five students bridges the gap between university and the craft.
2026
Innovation incubator
A long residency for ideas that do not fit anywhere else.
Working together looks simple from the outside.
Pick a path. Each one leads to a conversation; some to a contract, a residency, or a place in a cohort.
